Pastured Duck Meat — Fresh from Midwest Network Farms

Real duck. Raised outside. No shortcuts.

Our pastured duck meat comes from network farms across the US where ducks have outdoor access, forage naturally, and are raised without hormones or antibiotics. Breeds vary by farm and season and may include Muscovy, Pekin, and other production breeds — all raised by small independent farmers who care about how their animals live.

Why Pastured Duck?

Pastured duck is darker, richer, and more flavorful than anything you’ll find in a grocery store. Ducks that forage and move develop deeper muscle color and a more complex flavor profile than confinement-raised birds. The fat is different too — pastured duck fat is prized by chefs for roasting vegetables, making confit, and enriching sauces.

Muscovy duck in particular is leaner than other breeds with a beef-like flavor that surprises first-time duck eaters. Pekin is milder and more familiar, with the classic duck flavor most people recognize from restaurant menus.

USDA Inspected

All duck meat sold through USA Duck Team is USDA inspected and processed at licensed facilities. You get the flavor of a small farm with the food safety assurance of commercial processing.
